Supreme Oil is a Zambian owned vegetable oil brand produced to carter for the Zambian market as well as neighbouring countries most of which have an edible oil deficit.
Supreme Oil is manufactured from soya-beans that is produced at the KGML Farms with additional supply coming from 400 small-scale farmers incorporated in the KGML Supreme Women Co-operative Out-grower Scheme.
Supreme Oil was first produced in early 2016 and is patented under the patent laws of Zambia. With the main market being Lusaka, Supreme Oil is being enjoyed in areas as far as Nakonde of the Northern Province. Packaged in branded 20, 10, 5 and 2.5 liter containers, and 750 ml and 500 ml bottles, as well as 50 ml sachets to carter for the low -income consumers in densely populated areas, Supreme Oil is rapidly expanding as a favorite locally produced cooking oil with a theme “100% Pure Vegetable Oil produced from locally grown soyabeans”.
The vision of KGML is to become the largest co-operative driven edible oils producer and processor in Southern Africa within the next decade.
The vision will be realized through the mission of using a women led co-operative approach in the production of oil crops that will be processed into various edible oils using state of the art processing technology.
